When Antony and Vicky Roscoe realised that the properties they were developing sold quicker if they were furnished rather than empty for photography and viewings, the home staging business began, making Cullum Design one of the original house staging companies in the UK. It is now managed by their daughter Natalie who still continue relationships with estate agents and clients from the very beginning, due to the reliable and successful service that we have offered over all these years.
The early idea at the outset of the business was to create a homely feel in a recently developed property, thereby the applicants would not know it was a developer selling and would be less inclined to negotiate on the asking price. Since then the market and house staging have come a long way, with house staging now being considered a implicit part of a sales strategy when bringing a property to market.
