Battersea Power Station – show flats
Another fantastic apartment at Battersea Power Station. With this flat, I wanted to make the pillars into a feature by adding curved furniture. The sofa works so well in the space, and with the Turning Table, adding more fluidity to the space. This apartment is in the Gehry designed building – Prospect Place, in Pico. We must have dressed around 20 apartments in this block! There is Pico, Wilshire & Holmby all with amazing apartments.
Cullum Design have dressed many show flats now at Battersea power Station – from Battersea Roof Gardens to Switch House – each apartment is unique. No two apartments at Battersea power Station are the same. This is what makes this iconic Grade II listed heritage development so popular.
Prospect Place has the distinction of being the very first residences that acclaimed architects, Gehry Partners, have designed in the UK. The eye-catching exteriors are created by the unique winter garden pods that appear to cascade down the sides of these magnificent buildings.

This flat quickly sold, which was great news! It seemed the furniture, especially the style of furniture we had used, for example the curved sofa and coffee table, had made the flat more appealing and it had gone under offer within a week! Having been on the market for a while prior to dressing, it demonstrates that the concept works! We were then asked by the sales team at Battersea Power Station to move the items into another flat. So below are the items styled to fit into a new apartment in Pico House.
