Home Staging a luxury home for Knight Frank in Wimbledon. This is a luxury home on the exclusive Home Park Road in Wimbledon that had undergone full refurbishment works and was then brought to market.
With its original Arts and Crafts exterior at the front, at the back it has been transformed into a contemporary home with lots of glass and natural light. An open plan kitchen with all the modern appliances, dining area and family room, separate reception room and study, and in the lower ground a media room and indoor gym, dressed as a yoga studio, with sauna. This house has it all. Its a fantastically designed home for modern living.
It was such a great house to home stage. The entrance into the reception room with its original bay windows, we dressed with light upholstered furniture, keeping the space open but with a feel of luxury. The study, which could also be used as a dining room, is the perfect working from home room, being either closed and quiet, or open to the heart of the house – the kitchen, dining and living area. This area we dressed in a more informal feel, to keep it light and family friendly. On the coffee table a backgammon board is seen, whilst the dining table is laid for dinner with friends.
The master bedroom with walk in wardrobe has wonderful views of the Golf Course and Lake, flooded with natural light and lots of space. The walk in wardrobe is beautiful with views to the back of the house where the mature garden is so private and in contrast to the darker feel of the bathroom with his and her sinks.
On the lower ground floor, accessed by a stone spiral staircase that is a work of art in itself, is a home spa and media room.
