Property dressing a Chelsea house. This fabulous house in Jubilee Place, is a home stager’s dream project. The house has been renovated and extended to a very high standard. I love the detailing in the house – stunning panelling, beautiful fireplaces, great colours, exceptional joinery and craftsmanship throughout. I worked closely with the owner of the house who had a clear vision as to how she wanted it to look. It was great to be able to collaborate as I could see the house called for beautiful furniture that just complimented the house, without taking too much centre stage.
Property dressing’s main objective is to enhance the house and help people looking around to see themselves living there. In this case, the brief was to keep the property dressing elegant and simple, letting the house speak for itself. The items we used are some of my favourite – Andrew Martin, Robert Langford, Jonathan Adler, all fabulous pieces in keeping with the style of the house.
