Property dressing a mews house in Campden. The owners of this mews house had been living in the house whilst it had been on the market. With a young son and lockdown the house hadn’t sold and they had already brought their next house so were moving. Rather than continuing to have the house on the market empty of furniture, they decided to dress the house.
It was a good decision because once dressed an offer came very quickly – within a few days of being relaunched! It is a fantastic house and the furniture just helped buyers to visualise the space and how it can be used. We made a few changes to the layout than the owners had had it – we moved the focus area of the seating area round and added a tv unit so that the larger side of the room was used for the sofa enabling a larger sofa to be used than the previous owners had. Its these little changes which can transform a room and make it feel much bigger.
