Property Dressing a Chelsea townhouse with Savills

Savills are a very well known estate agents operating globally. They sell and let prime London property. Property Dressing a house on Ovington Street with Savills was a wonderful project to work on.

Ovington Street is located between Milner Street and Walton Street, so prime Chelsea location. This house is a Grade II listed Victorian home with four bedrooms. The ground floor has a double reception room. Here, we wanted to keep the room light and spacious, whilst still bringing in the nod to history as it still has some of the orignal features. So we decided to property dress using a more classic contemporary feel, using whites and golds to make the space spacious yet feel warm.

In the reception room nothing is more warm and welcoming than a bookcase filled with old books – I love the colours of these books, and styling in colours is great fun.

As the rooms aren’t huge, unlike some of our recent proejcts e.g. Home Park Road, we decided to use mirrored furniture from Robert Langford to help increase the feeling of space and light in the rooms. I love Robert Langford furniture – they really have a great detail for design and are practical items too.
