Property Styling a flat in Hyde Park Gate. This flat greatly benefitted from property styling. When I visited the flat, and it was empty of furniture, I found it hard to imagine how to do the main reception room layout. How would a table fit? How would the seating work? The owners had the second bedroom as a dining room, but rarely do we style a separate dining room now. The bedrooms are styled as bedrooms, and the dining area is in the reception room. Once we had property styled the space, the flat transformed and it became clear that there was plenty of room for seating and dining in the reception room. The flat has a fantastic location opposite Hyde Park so it was important to show the flat at its true value, and the styling of the rooms was an important element in this.
When I visit the property I do make notes on all aspects that can be improved. For example, a small detail here is that we supplied a radiator cover and the hallway became a whole new space. Adding details like this create a positive first impression when entering the flat, as we could then add a mirror and some decorative accessories.
