Home staging a London townhouse. This Kensington townhouse was property dressed by Cullum Design. We wanted to create a luxury yet relaxed feel to the interiors of the house with the home staging of this fabulous house. A space where you can entertain and also enjoy family time. With its stunning architectural features, a classic contemporary look worked well, showcasing the historic nature of the building, as well as how to use the space.
Home staging a London townhouse. What a joy to property dress this historic Kensington townhouse in one of the best squares in Kensington – Thurloe Square. Our projects don’t get much better or bigger than this 6 bedroom house, and in such a fantastic location too. The views from the bedrooms were of the the private square with the V & A in the background. This is a heritage property that still has lots of original architectural detail. We therefore felt it was important to have a mix of items to use from our furniture collection and to include some heritage pieces. When mixed with contemporary pieces, such as contemporary artwork, heritage antiques add depth and narrative to a space. This was the perfect property to use a mix of styles and we loved using some contemporary artwork and accessories, antique desks and Georgian side tables.
Cullum Design is one of the few home staging companies to have a collection of heritage antiques as well as contemporary pieces. This is because we have been staging homes for over thirty years when antiques was the main look.
Home staging really shows how the space can be used. It also has benefits when it comes to property marketing as the rooms show much better in interior photography. For the listings, the photos stand out. Its as much about lifestyle too. Property dressing shows the property in its best way.
