Home staging works – multiple offers once dressed and no offers when empty.
This house in North Hill, Highgate, had very little interest when it was empty of furniture. Once dressed, the owners received multiple offers. The photography and listing of the house with its empty rooms did not attract interest. Once we had dressed the house, you could see what a wonderful family home it is. Furniture makes all the difference!
Here is what the owner, Anna had to say about working with Cullum Design, you can also see her and others reviews on Houzz
‘We were struggling to sell our house after our tenants had moved out and it was sitting empty. Natalie did an amazing job of dressing the house, turning it from a sad, empty shell into a beautiful, stylish home, reflected in the estate agents’ photos. She thought of every detail. Within two weeks we had several offers. Thank you Natalie. You made all the difference.’
It’s only by receiving these reviews that we know that home staging works. Dressing a house for sale is a essential property marketing tool. It is a very cost effective way to help your property stand out as when home staging, each items is carefully considered, the best layout is offered, and lifestyle goals achieved. It is certainly much better to try home staging then lowering the asking price – at least its worth the try. If you are selling a home that is empty of furniture, try home staging first.
Cullum Design works with a range of properties and always styles to the property. Each project is totally unique and bespoke – we do not offer packages. We work to the property supplying furniture and accessories, artwork and soft furnishings that make the property look its best. To make your property stand out on a online listing, you need strong images. You need to create a connection which is best done through staging.
