Staging at Battersea Power Station
This is the 6th apartment we have staged at Oakley House at Battersea Power Station.
This legendary London landmark and surrounding area has been brought back to life as one of the most exciting and innovative mixed use neighbourhoods in the world
Designed by Foster + Partners, the cool contemporary apartments in Battersea Roof Gardens at Battersea Power Station have floor to ceiling glass windows and are awash with light. Almost every apartment has its own winter garden with many enjoying balconies and spectacular views of the Grade II* listed Power Station.
These apartments are a home stagers dream to style! Compared to the other building apartments we have dressed – Prospect House by Gehry, Switch House East & West – this building is more contemporary with slick lines, lots of glass and light and a more luxe feel. Each building at Battersea Power Station calls for a slightly different approach to styling.
We used some of our favourite pieces from our furniture collection. The curved Andrew Martin sofas bring some soft shapes to the space.
Home staging really helps with creating interesting photography for online listings. So much of property marketing starts with online searches that having images that stand out is now considered an essential part of property marketing. Having furniture in place for viewings is also essential. It really helps to see the space. Empty rooms are difficult to visualise, and even if you offer virtual staging images, its not the same as physically being in the room with items.
